At least you have your priorities straight. I know my daughter is worth the world to me, so if it meant me loosing my car, that would be nothing compared to loosing my daughter.
It will all work out for the best though. Don't worry, you are doing the right thing! Sounds like your kids are lucky to have a dad that is willing to go so far for them.

doing the right thing! way back in 86-87 had to sell my 69 and 72 mach 1s, daughter had health issues. she got better and now have new toys.(mustangs,camaros,trucks ect....)
