Default 1994 Mustang Power Window Question

My plastic gears are shot in all four of my power windows. I have done research on how to remove all items to get to the power window motor out in order to change the gears, however, my motor is held on with 3 rivits. If I drill out these rivits, how do I get the motor back to its original position? Most posts/research state something about 3 bolts that hold the motor on, which is lots easier than rivets...but I don't have the bolts. Do I need to buy new motors or is there a rivit kit for this? Any help would be much appreciated. Also, I keep hearing about torque pins for the window...do I need these too or will the new gears work fine to ensure the windows go up and down?

You've got me a little confused...
When I did the gears in my passenger side window, it was very simple and straight forward. But I didn't have rivets holding the motor in. Which motors are held in by the rivets?
Since you said all 4 motors, I'm guessing you have a convertible?

Yes, I do have a convertible. Sorry, meant to say all gears are shot, but the motors on the driver/passenger side are held by rivits.

Ok, so JUST the rear quarter window motors are held in by rivets right?
Because the front window motors should be held in by I believe 3 bolts....

Nope, front window power motors are held in by rivits.

That is strange...
You will have to drill them out, and find some bolts that will work in their place. That's all I can think of.
Sorry I wasn't more help than that. Maybe someone will chime in that has ran into the same problem.
