I have a 95 cobra with a 347 stroker. I am running a lot of the stock stuff in there and it works fine. You will see a lot more performance gains by upgrading the stock components, but for now it will be fine. Although There are some differences between the cobra and gt I think you would be alright.

Once you get it going, it'd be best to have it on a dyno and get it tuned. The 1995 computer is very picky and could use it to get the most out of it, especially when it's been modified.

Reggie knows strokers, Pro Power is good. I always tend to give multiple places for price comparison too.

thanks for the links. a friend thinks I should for now buy a ford exsploder motor and put cam shaft, rockers, and my fuel injection on it for now and build the factory motor out of my stang when money supports it. instead of the 331 with factory parts on it. he done the exsploder swap on his stang with 355 gears and H-pipe flows K&N the average bolt on's and ran 8.20's to 1/8 and low 13's to quarter. which with those numbers I can run with the ram ir cars around here.
