Default Long tube headers vs. shorty headers

Alrite, ive been contemplating on which one i should get. Im guessing that the long tube headers are a better way to go, but im not sure. Also, if i were to get long tube headers, with a 2 1/2" collector, will i be able to use my stock h-pipe, or will i have to get a new one? Also, i know on my car (95 gt 5.0) there are 2 sets of cats. Does the long tube headers replace one set or both sets of cats? Any info would be cool.

I would go ahead and go with longtubes. A lot of people go with shorties due to the easier install, but longtubes will generally make more HP on a modded engine.

Long tubes will not work with your stock H-pipe. If you decide to go with LT's, you will have to ditch your stock pipe and buy a short pipe (H or X or ProChamber) designed to bolt up to longtube headers.
