You have to take the intake plaque off. The one that says 5.0.
You need some torx bits, and just unscrew two of them.
Once you get that plaque off there are two long bolts holding it in.

Thanks Reg!
That's the plus side of doing this stuff yourself. Also, the satisfaction and goofy smile you get when it starts up on the first try.

Also, make sure you don't just yank that upper intake out. There are a few vacuum hoses and electrical hookups to unhook first. And be ready to replace a lot of vacuum lines! I know that from experience.

Are you doing an intake swap on yours or what?

What heads?

Good luck. Just make sure you don't skimp out on new vacuum lines and wires while you're in there.
I just swapped to a GT40 (tubular) intake. A job that should have been two evenings ended up lasting from friday til tuesday evening because I had to take MULTIPLE trips to AutoZone, O'Reily's, and ACE.
