Default 1995 Mustang GT electric seat motor

I just spent a grand on a new throw out bearing, and now I need to fix the electric seat motor. Is this a big deal. I hear it making noise....guessing it is just worn out. Is this something I can handle.....(modest repair ability)???????

Welcome to the site. Try putting some white lithium grease on the threads first.

I need to rebuild mine in my 96 V6. It has the threads stripped or something. It will hardly move forward or backwards and I have to push it. I called FORD and as usual, they sell the whole unit but not single parts. They want more than $500.00.

I will be finding a way to rebuild mine even if it means making a part.

How do you spend a grand on a throwout bearing??
