Default Oil pressure sending unit locaton on 1995 5.0 mustang.

Where is the oil pressure sending unit on our 1995 5.0 mustangs? Thanks for the help.

on the driver side engine compartment above the oil filter. rough description but it gives you a general view

Yep, just look around the oil filter and you'll find it. It took me about one hour total to put my oil pressure gauge in, but most of that was just running the line for the new gauge....

Don't know about the stangs, cause I haven't looked at mine yet, but my 87 TBIRD had the same (5.0) and yes it was very near the filter. One word to the wise, on the TBIRD there was a battery ground that attached to one of the sender bolts, if the stang has it also, make sure you don't forget to reattach it. The shop did that to me and about melted the secondary ground coming off the battery.

Mine has a braided stainless steel line connected to it for a mechanical oil pressure gauge. The location is the same, the oil pressure sending unit threads into the same port. See picture:
