Default Edelbrock Intake/throttle body compatibility

Hi everyone, I just finished putting my Performer RPM II (some details on how the vacuum hoses reconnect would have been helpful) and I wanted to get a 70 mm throttle body. In the instructions they said that the manifold was only compatible with the stock throttle body or an edelbrock throttle body. It seems to me that if it works with a stock then it should work with ANY throttle body right? Also, when it comes to TBs, does the brand matter very much?

Any throttle body is fine. Just make sure the the TB isn't bigger than either the TB opening on the intake or the elbow. Get a 70mm throttle body of ANY brand and you'll be just fine. Accufab has quality products, but for a TB any brand will work fine. Professional Products/Summit TB are good and cheap!
