On my 96 GT that I had, I bought a set of BFgoodrich comp T/a ZR tires and I loved them!! I would spin the car like crazy, burn the crap out of them, and all kind of other stuff and I got like 30+ 000 miles. I even went around Charlotte at 130mph with them on and had no problems!

Does insurance buy you new tires if your tires get slashed?

I stand behind Firestone Wide Ovals!
I put Fuzion ZRIs on when I first got my car, DO NOT BUY THOSE, that's all I can politely say about those.
I was driving in the rain the other day and tested the tires in wet weather. Unless I tried to spin the tires they wouldn't spin. I am very impressed with them.
I've also heard a lot of good from the BFGs...
Everyone has their own preference though.

Go ahead and chuckle but the BFG's are between $80-$85 @ Walmart here in KY where I'm at. Your Walmart may be different but it's worth a try. The BFG's are a good tire for the price and you will deffently get more than 30,000 miles out of them.

Nothing wrong with getting BFG's at Wal Mart.
