Glad to hear that just changing an o2 sensor saved you. Consider yourself VERY lucky. Leaving half a tank of gas sitting in your car for so long is HORRIBLE for your fuel system... I still wouldnt rule that out though.
You should do some Google searches on what gas does to a fuel system (especially carburetors) and see what that stuff can do.
