Default Air Conditioning Question

Hey All,

I hope Im placing this question in the right place...my question is are the non-engine a/c components on the 94 V6 compatable to run with a 95 GT engine? I read a tech write up on the 5.0 magazine website and it stated that I would only have to change the lines. Is this true? I went to a shop and they claimed I had to change everything and it would cost $1600...I know that cant be right...lol..

All components are the same, the lines ARE routed slightly different.

Always believe Mustang tech write-ups over a shop. Tech articles are not needing money, just brothers helping out!

Thanks for the backup...I may be a first time Mustang owner but because I want to know everything I possibly can about my Stang I spend 75% of my day reading these very forums...and definitely knew he was talking trash when he said what he said...now...the one thing I couldnt find an answer for is how many lines are needed? I want to buy the necessary lines to get my a/c running but am unaware of how many and the names of the lines?
