5.0 into 3.8 body question

I have a GT built like I want it,but want a 'vert--
I've had this link saved for a while and now I'm ready to use the info when I find the right body,be it a GT or base model--

but there is something they don't cover---the guage cluster,isn't the GT speedo 150 mph and the 3.8 120 mph? Are the tachometers the same?

Does anybody know if they interchange by just unplugging and replugging in?

The speedo is different like you said, V8's had 150 and V6's had 120.
The tach is different because it's getting input from a 6 cylinder, if you can rewire it for the V8 input then it'll work.
