I bought this car knowing it had some problems, I have all the mechanical probs fixed now and love the car. I guess the guy I bought the car from didn't know where the jacking points are on this car, and he put a inch wide gash about 2 inches away from the jack points on both sides of the car from jacking the car in the wrong place. Any body ever had to fix something like this? any tips? I also heard that there are places that sell metal strips that run completely down the side of the car from the front jacking point to the rear point. Anyone know anything about these?

i know of a guy who cut a aluminum square, and with some liquid nails had it fixed.
