Default 3.73 install

I've just got new ring & pinion set from ford motorsport company (3.73). What other things do I exactly need if I'm going to install it by myself. How to calibrate it so it will fit without any noises???

This is not a job for an amature. Have it done by a pro.

he is right i did it myself and it was easy for me but i took differential rebuild at school first
if u still wanna do it u will need a press to get old pinion bearing off and back on
me i just bolted everything in after that
went in perfect no adjusting used stock shims lined up great i took the class so of course i checked everything which those tools are alot or $ to buy
have shop do it they wil replace everything in there all for under $600 and if they mess it up u can come back and have them re-doit
best option buy FMS gears and have dealer do it make sure they under satnd u want it done right

i didnt have the money so i didnt replace any bearings which means in a year i will have to

yeah dude, I'm with them. Spend the extra 300 bucks and have it done by a pro. If and when you actually got everything on and back together, you would'nt know anything was wrong with the gear until it was too late. The gears need to be lined up perfectly. This is a job for a pro. Peace out.

Thanks a lot guys. But there is nobody who could do it here in the Czech. Rep. - this is europe - they are not equipped here for US cars like these.
I already took the old differential out but couldn't calibrate the new one so I put it back. Grrrrrrrrrr

Anyway thanks a lot.
