There seems to be some variation in the belt size needed to bypass the smog pump. Anything from 89.5" to 90.5" has been reported so it might take some trial and error to find the perfect size.

I bypassed my smog pump and still have it hooked up. The bearings were goin out so i just got a smaller belt and bypassed it. I have the MAC underdrives to and it runs fine. and it doesnt backfire on downshift since i have no cats.

did anyone else have problems with an oil line in the way? when i run the belt like the diagram it rubs on a oil line between the water pump and a/c compressor

No I don't think there was an oil line in the way down there but I will certainly check now that you mentioned it. I'll have to get back to you on that.
