Default Stroker kit and different head clearences question

This winter i am going to see if i can save the money to put a 331 stroker kit in my car. for now i wont be able to afford the trick flow heads and edelbrock intake, i was just wondering if it would be a clearance issue if i just used the gt40 heads and intake for now and when i have the cash switch them out for the trick flow and edelbrock. thanks.

the valve clearence issue is going to be based on what cam your running (how much lift and duration) and what rockers you are using and what size valve is in the head

Most pistons that come in stroker kits can accommodate most cams unless you get outrageous with the cam specs. You should be able to use the GT40s now with no problem.

What you can do is, if you haven't gotten the kit yet you can specify the pistons meant to be used with the TFS heads. They come with dual eyebrow reliefs and they're for both inline and TFS head valve arrangements.

yeah i am not going with a big cam. i want a medium sized because it is an everyday street car. and yeah ill see if i can get the kit setup for the TFS so when i do get the money saved up it all goes together good.

another question i have is what would be the best intake to go with the TFS heads? the TFS intake or would the edelbrock victor jr intake be better?
