Default Few new upgrades

I got my GT about a month ago and im try to save my money to upgrade the car. I will be 17 and can only work a few hours a week because of football but eventually i will be making about 150 a week again. Anyway my car has straight pipes and i want to get cat back exhaust but its expensive so i am holding out. my car has 3.08 gears and i want to go to 3.55's if it will increase my speed in a quarter mile. im also going to eventually get new cylinder heads, tb, intakes, possible supercharger, ignition, rockers, and cam shaft. will i be able to get a few of these upgrades and have the straight pipes be free flowing enough to get good performance out of the upgrades. i will eventually get exhaust but its 800 for what i want

its a stock t5 stick

i am just wondering if having 3.55's would increase my accel a lot or if 3.73's would be decent enuff because they have higher top speed

No that would mean a lower top end. And yes 3.73s will make a bigger difference in the quarter than the 3.55s. Also you may want to reconsider Borla. Yes it is a good system, but kinda overpriced. Ask others about what system they use, you can get a good exhaust system for half that price.

Go with Flowmasters American Thuder cat-back. Once you get the heads and everything it will sound really nice. Mine is deep and clear. Sounds better than most other Mustangs around my area. It's a good system that always sounds good. The price isn't that bad either.

You can always go with Borla Ceramic headers, but go with a different exhaust system. Most people go with a Offroad H pipe, then mufflers and tips. Just look around first, i bet you wont see any difference in (for example) Bassani over Borla
