Question about Gauges

yesterday my cooling fan stoped working.I traced it back to the 10 amp cooling fan fuse in the fuse box under the hood.there was no power going to the fuse in that terminal.iI don;t know way that just stoped working.anyway , i ran a wire from the battery just to that 10 amp fuse panel.the fan came on fine and every thing.but now my Guages , speedometer and my RPM guage won,t work .. What did I mess up now
please help. I checked all my other fuses. and everyone of them is fine.

I just had the intruments fail last week in my truck. It was something to do with the transmission control. Recheck the fuses. My truck is an auto.

Its a fuse underneath the dash...Had the EXACT same problem...10 cent fuse was all it was...like a 10 amp I believe...I had to put in a 15amp cause the 10 ampkept popping...that was a year ago and never had a problem since.
