actually, yes, i CAN help sadly u wont find very much info on this subject i looked and searched and found nothing lol ok HERES THE DEAL...

if u have ur radio working again and its stock, you MUST set a radio station for the number 1 and the number 2 memory spots, THEN u MUST set the clock!! i dont know WHY lmao but this is what worked for me... i bought my car wrecked all smashed in and everything!! i replaced air bags and sensors and all!! couldnt get the lgiht out... found out that there is another red fuse in the panel 10 AMP that controls the air bag system, needed replacement, and i had to set radio up...

so after extensive frustration... i also found out that there is a little gray connector under the passenger side air bag... that u can reset the light ONLY when if the air bag light comes on, on its first set of flashing, *note: it flashes like 4 times once, then like 2 times next* the first set of flashing which i think is like 4 times... IF YOU HAVE EVERYTHING properly replaced that was damaged, (in ur case just the air bag fuse and radio stations/clock) the air bag light will flash steadily for SIX seconds... if ur first set of flashing is shorter or longer than that, by a decent amount, then u still have a fault in the air bag system...

the gray connector under the dash after all necessary precautions and tests, u hook a jumper wire to ONE pin in there (there are only two pins so you will just be jumping one side to another) then turn the key to the ON position, the air bag light will come on and go out, in the FIRST FLASH back up connect the jumper wire to the OTHER pin inside the gray connector and wait a few seconds prolly about 20 seconds and it will chime like a beep beep beep i do believe... and ur air bag light will go off and SHOULD NOT come back on providing every component in the air bag system has been cured!!

note* ur car does NOT have the things in the seat belts to throw an air bag light so DONT let anyone tell you that you need to replace ur seat belts!! if this dont work, repost ur update or PM me, and we can take this one step further... as i now know every aspect of the air bag system in these cars all from self discovery and owning 2 1998 mustangs

oh and P.S. !!! even tho it didnt happen to me and nor have i heard it happen, KEEP your head CLEAR of the air bags while turning key on and off if at all possible and resetting the connector!!! be VERY careful to not put yourself or any helpers in line of fire on the air bags as a JUST IN CASE!!!

Sometimes the blue box goes bad and needs replaced. Coincidence?
