Unhappy gt40 upper and lower intake on my 1994 Mustang gt?

i have a upper and lower intake with throttle body and cold air my question is will it work on my 94 gt with the throttle cable i know the intake will bolt up cause its a 5.0 but will my throttle cable and iac and other bolt ons work since the setup is different? my 94 stock one has the curves before the throttle body gets bolted on but the 87-93 intake doesnt have that curve till after the tb so the throttle cable on my car is i believe longer cause the throttle body is in a different position will this be a problem if i put the 87-93 intake on. any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. And sorry for babling lol thanks

When i did that set up, i had to buy the curved piece that you bolt on. If you get that, your setup will work.

94-95 Mustang Intake Adapter, 5.0, Efi, Satin by Professional Products at LRS - Same Day Shipping!
This is what you'll need. This Profesional Products piece is the cheapest one I've found. It's also the same one I bought for my GT40 intake. You don't need anything else unless you want to run a 75mm TB, then you'll want the Trick Flow elbow.

Or you could do a FOX style TB setup...
Here's the instructions.... Official Fox Body Intake Swap Thread

There is really no HP benefit in doing the FOX TB setup, but you can get a little better throttle response.

The elbow would be the easiest way to get things to work.

Yep. That's the route I took and I had zero problems.

And since it's just an elbow, you don't need anything expensive. So the PP peice I gave you a link to is what you want.

well i ordered the trickflow elbow today from my local speed shop it was 100 dollars but ill have it monday the cars takin apart and in the process of puttin it back 2gether so as soon as i get the elbow it will be done and hopefully run better. i also put a bbk adjustable fuel regulator on it cause the car has 24 pound injectors and is gettin to much fuel and bogging at low rpms hopefully these mods will fix my problem. Thanks for all the help.

You should get a "chip and tune" as soon as possible you've done alot of mods and the computer is confused!

I'm gonna give you a hard time and tell you that you should have gotten the cheaper elbow. No need for the big name brand elbow. But it won't hurt you at all.

My first question to you is: Are you still running with your stock heads?
If you still have your stock heads why did you upgrade to 24# injectors??? Even if you upgrade the intake you don't need to upgrade the injectors yet.

Second question: Since you upgraded to 24# injectors, did you get an MAF that is calibrated for 24# injectors?
