Default 1995 Mustang not firing

Lets start from the beginning. Every since I have had the car sometimes it would randomly die and not start back and sometimes I would park it and get back in it later and it wouldnt start and then I could get back in it the next day and it crank right up. Now it won't fire at all. First, I changed coil, no go. Then, I replaced the pick-up in the distributor, no go. So then I took my ignition module and had it tested and it tested bad and I replaced it, still no fire. I am getting power at the hot wire for the coil. I haven't found any blown fuses. Only other thing I can think is the ECM. Any suggestions.

Definitely sounds like the PIP sensor but you say that was replaced. Have you tried pulling the fault codes from the PCM? The test port is in the engine bay on the passenger side between the strut tower and firewall.

Default fault code

I havent ran the code I do not have a code reader for the older computers. I took the battery out of the car too so it probably reset. I might try to find a used distributor and see if that fixes it but the sensor in it is new.

I had the same problem with mine... and did the same... I though it was the PIP too but same as you.. no go.. the problem was on the CCRM one of the relays was dirty... just replaced the CCRM and all good.. the thing is "maybe" you are not getting power to the fuel pump you may hear the first time the fuel pump working but when it shuts down pay attention if the fuel pump works again..

You don´t need a code reader to pull the codes just find on the passenger side your test connector and do the procedure in the picture... then go to the driver seat with a pen and paper and watch the check engine light it wil give you the codes..

check this link...

I would try to read the codes like you said to do but I bet since the battery has been out of the car it has reset. Also, when you talk about the relay being dirty does it just go to the fuel pump? I can hear the pump come on and I have fuel at the rail, just the coil is not firing.
