vinyl head rest on a sn-95 car?

When i wanted my passenger air bag to be black instead of grey i used some left over dye my buddy had that you mixed like car paint.

from what i hear this is better then the spray can stuff but even that can work well.

I dyed my seats in my '73 with Duplicolor vinyl dye. I was very impressed with it. Just make sure you clean the surface first with a vinyl cleaner. Or you can use "Marine Clean" to clean it. Don't overuse the Marine Clean, it will take the factory dye right off and leave with a dull grey piece of vinyl. Then when you spray the duplicolor it won't look even.
