Default 1994-1995 Mustang to 1996-1998 taillights

Are they interchangable? They appear to be but i just want to make sure. I like the sequencing taillights and I also think the 3 vertical lights are more traditional to the mustang rather than ours. So what do you guys think? Im thinking about getting the blockout covers for them as well.

Yes they are interchangeable but you'll need a wiring harness for them. I think you can buy them on Ebay.

Keep the horizontals!!! Why switch to what everyone else has?

Hey man, it's your car. By all means do what YOU want. I'm just saying, if you put the verticles on you'll just blend in with all the 4.6 guys and a lot of the '94-'95 guys that did the same swap. Why blend in when you can be different and still look good?

The horizontals give the impression that the car is wider also.

I don't see how it would work with the horizontals. Unless your wanting the lights to start at the top and go down... Then it will look like your signalling to turn into the ground.

I would say keep the horizonals, the 1996-1998 lights look like blobs but I gotcha on the sequential lights.

Turn into the ground...

Yeah, then they would be called "dive signals" instead of "turn signals"!

Well i got a 95 fobra and i had the horizontals on it..so many vette and camaro guys wouldnt even want to run me cuz in my neck of the woods the 94 to 95 gts and cobras were slackers and slow5.0's..after i did the swith to 96 to 98 tailights ill get a highrev lets run em every damn time i see a bowtie around..makes it fun for a street drive and wanna show ur cars balls..i have done the full cobra conversion

ive done the tail lights , headlights, cluster white face gauge, front and rear bumper from 96 to 98 cobra, airbag, shifter handle--meaning its leather wrapped not the bs one on the gts, emblems cobra each fender and grille and svt logo on trunk, cobra wing and did the full cobra brake upgrade and wheels...whew ok im done...

anyways bro its ur choice..but myself i like the idea of a damn chevy fearing the 4.6 versus a slow5.0..once i kick their ass considering i got 404 rwhp from a 347..it makes for a ton of laughs and fun..the lights and harnesses ran me $50 on ebay for both lights and harnesses and they were ford oem..just gotta keep ur eyes peeled for a good deal...have fun!!

I've only seen the sequentials on the '10 Mustangs. And I will tell you they looked awesome.
But, to me, that wouldn't justify losing the horizontals. That's just me though.

I actually do know about flying a plane! Just bought a "new" R/C airplane about a month ago.

It has a 1.8ci motor, in about a 7lbs. plane. I bet it could do a quarter mile faster than your car Reggie.

........... Dangit, I can't get the picture to upload........
