Default Need some exhaust help

Well Im selling some stuff here soon and have decided not to upgrade the crap outta the car. But I wold like to do some things to the Stang. I wanna redo the suspension for sure ( it creeps A LOT) and also wanna get rid of the stock sounding exhaust. Im kinda looking to get a really raspy sounding exhaust. Kinda deep and loud. What kinda system should i look for when buying an exhaust setup. Also what would a shop charge me to install it?

Default exhaust

i got a 95 cobra with a 347..all usual boltons...aluminum heads afr 165s.. bbk longtube headers...custom 3" xpipe no cats..and 40 series flows with turn downs and its just absolutely the perfect head turning raspy stang sound that i love and so do alot of other peeps...and its not loud in car until u hit about 80 mph in 5th gear then u start to hear the rpm exhaust noise..me well i like it just god awful loud and its almost but just not loud enough for my liking but its pretty damn close...good luck

i agree on the flowmasters 40 series sound really good on the mustang. As far as installation just shop around and get quotes from several shops, everyone will be different. I had full exhaust done for 125$ (but i had already bought the mufflers before hand) Ebay is your friend, shop there for your mufflers.. also craigslist is good too. As for the suspension sounds like you need new struts and shocks.. might need new bushings too. Again shop around sometimes summit is cheaper and sometimes it's ebay. Just a little heads up.. Modding a car is addictive. I cant tell you how many times i've hurd someone say im just going to do a little and end up with every bolt on under the sun. As long as you enjoy it, thats all that matters.

If you would like the exhaust extra loud go for dumps.. just make sure they are angled to the side slightly so that it doesnt sound like a dump truck coming down the road.
