Default 1995 Mustang GT Speedo Gears

From what I can find, my T5 has an 8 tooth GREEN gear (2.73). In order to go to the 3.73, I would need a WHITE speedo gear 23 tooth. Am I right? Also, what weight fluid does it use?

I looked several places and it seems to be the white 23 tooth. This is a handy, and hopefully accurate, tool: Speedometer Gears

I have 373s in mine and i replaced it with the 23 tooth white gear. My speedo is off by about 3mph though.

I think you have to fo the tranny and speedo gears to get it right on the 3.73s

I had trouble getting the white gear from Ford a couple months ago. If you do too, search it up on Corral, then go to a Chrysler dealer. Jeeps use the same gear.
