Default Fox Body Transmission In a SN95?

I am looking at a TKO 500 tranny for a fox body, will this tranny work in my 1994? It comes with bellhousing, cross member, shift fork, and shifter arm. thanks

I would believe that there would not be any problems. For the most part they are the same inner structure.

I have heard a lot of different answers. Some poeple say that the input/output shaft would be too short.. Anyone else?

correct me if im wrong,

the tko 500 will fit both fox body and sn95.

you will have to get a new bellhousing, fox clutch fork, slip yoke, and modify your crossmember. also will need a driveshaft spacer because the tko is shorter.

if it is a 26 spline you will also need a new clutch.

there is a good tech write up at the top of the 94-95 forum
