i have a stock 1994 gt my stock injectors are bad and performance ones are cheaper but i dont know what else to upgrade for it to work im looking at 21lb injectors as apposed to stock 19lb. what do i need to get for these injectors to work for my car any help would be greatley appreciated.

i supose you could grow into them with future mods.

the only thing you should need is a recalibrated mass air sencor.

The MAF needs to match the injectors. Don't expect ANY power gains from upping the #'s per hour.
As long as the MAF is correctly calibrated with the injectors you shouldn't have any problems.

when you buy a MAF they calibrate it to your injectors. for standard size 19/24/30 ect. you can just buy them online. i dont think 21 # injectors are that common. you might have to call for a custom one or somthing. either way its about $200+ for the MAF.

If i were you, and you plan on keeping it stock. I would just get some 19#ers from somone upgrading & keep your existing MAF. Im pretty sure i even got a set of em laying around.

how you diagnose your bad injectors ???

autozone performance injectors
constantly smell fuel but cant smell it in the car im pretty sure its probably just the seals but i figure since im doin it ya know
as for the project im trying to make mine beat a drag snake but be street legal just short on funds at the moment just had twins

Accel have injectors of that size but finding a MAF that's calibrated for 21lb injectors is another story.

I have been checking out them 21# injectors. Then on another topic 302feen was kind enough to post me this link a few weeks ago How to port your maf.

Ford Mustang: Mustang Tech: Induction: Porting your MAF

This makes the maf a 75mm and could make it run lean. MAYBE with the 21's it could work. What do ya think?
