Question 1994 Mustang tranny fluid level, how to check?

Hey, I just got this mustang, first one ever. Yay. :kooky:but I think it needs transmission fluid and it has no dip stick for it, how do I find the transmission underneath the car? I could just take it to the shop, but I would like to be able to do this on my own.
Any help is appreciated.

the tranny is inbetween the motor and the drive shaft right under neath of where the shifter would be. if it does not have a dipstick then i am guessing that it is a 5 speed. to check the fluid level get underneath the car with the car level. there are two plugs on the side. one is the fill and one is the level check. you will need to take the bottom one out wich is the check and put you finger in it. the fluid should be level with that hole. if its underfilled just put tranny fluid in the top one untill it starts to run out of the bottom hole. i hope this helps. if it is an auto there is a dipstick located on the passenger side towards the back of the engine compartment right up against the valve cover.

I figured someone had to ask....
But I just checked her profile, which says it's a manual.

So '94mustang, this is my advice.
There is no really good way to check the trans fluid because there is no place to check it. There is just a hole to fill the trans. Any method of checking it involves getting under the car.
If it was me, I would just change the fluid. That way you know it is full and full with good fluid.

And I am pretty sure the bottom plug is to drain the fluid, the top is to fill and check the level...
