wanted.. saleen body kit, fiberglass or urethane??
i want to get a saleen body kit for my '94 gt and have seen some ads for the saleen kit for a very reasonable price. this kit is fiberglass and not urethane. anyone see any problems with the durability of fiberglass? the authentic saleen kit is urethane but costs around $1100. any thoughts??

Usually 'reasonable price' means 'reasonable quality', which is something you don't want to mess with when it comes to body kits. Fiberglass isn't bad, it's just not as flexible as urethane, so it's more prone to cracking. But if you are going to save $500 by buying a kit off of say...eBay, then I guarantee you're going to end up paying at least $500 getting that fiberglass to fit correctly.
How does your kit look on your car Tolpster? Mine got botched. There's a link at the bottom of my web site's cover page that shows the flaws. Let me know if your kit does anything like mine please. I want to know if my body shop f***ed up.

well mine isnt too bad at all, my friends and i put it on ourselves, i didnt see the need to heat it up any, i think the body shop f@#ked up, and you really shouldnt have the swirls in your paint, the wing was the body shops fault, i think they really didnt know what they were doing,im gonna post some picks of my car soon so you can take a look at them.
