ok supposing i do keep my
tranny a manual,
give me some options,
my
tranny is messing up, im not shure whats wrong with it but i think its bad it wont shift into higher gears, and it gets to about 35 mph and then it starts to slow down unless i put it in neutral then back into drive.
as for the AFR heads i cant afford them right now.
my car is prety fast as it is, i just need a tougher
tranny to handle it

ok now i am giving some serious thought to stayin automatic, but i just dont understand the deal, im uncomfortable drilling into my transmission for a valve body and stuff,
could someone explain it a bit better, so i can weigh my decision?
also if im getting this right.
all i would need to get is a transbrake,
and a converter.
BUT how can i shift with that manual valve body when i wanna whop ass, do i have to go into 2 and 1??? on the shifter
and as for converters, explain the stall speed reqs. and what would be good for my setup.
