Default Parking brake light stays on.

My parking brake light stays on when i take the e-brake off. I have added brake fluid and the pads seem to have a decent amount of pad left. It sometimes goes off but will come back on, also it flickers as well sometimes. About a week ago it was raining pretty hard and and i spun out and jumped a small curb going relatively slow (probly about 15-20 mph) the problems with the light started about 3 days later. Anyone know whats up?

Check the brake pedal switch (attached to the pedal).

Mine does the same thing. Under the box in the armrest is the switch for the light. Mine is just dangling in there so whenever it hits metal the light goes on. I can't figure out where the thing goes, though. If you find out let me know.

Do not ever do that. Brake fluid is not a consumable. It's low for a good reason.

Either A) the calipers' pistons are pushed out because the pads are thin or B) there is a leak in the system.

If the pistons are pushed out, and you replace the pads, the pistons get pushed back in and the fluid overflows the reservoir.

If there was a leak in the system, you wouldn't have very good brakes, if any at all.
