I wanted to give everyone a heads up in-case they ever decide to do the same as me. I recently installed a Summit-Racing H Pipe for my 94 GT Convt 5spd. I already had MAC Shorty Headers installed along with Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust with the large tips. It always sounded good, but imo not loud enough. Boy oh boy, taking those cats off really opened it up. But what I was shocked about was the quietness of the car in 5th gear or not under load. In 5th gear at 1500-1800 this car you can barely hear. But around 2000 you certainly know it's either got exhaust or something under the hood. Some areas you want to watch out for noise police but if your not in the throttle it's perfect, loud when under load, not when cruising. Open the thing up in any gear it sounds like a 70's musclecar! Great sounding, no raspyness, no delay, just pure exhaust right away. The H pipe fit in well only PITA was the exhaust tube. Everything else fit in properly.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I do not know how to post sound clips and I do not have a mic to do so, but trust me if you want an old muscle car sound do it! I searched high and low via websites and youtube and did not find any combo like this, well like this that had a sound clip.
