well there are 3 reasons why I wanted to use a 5.0L, first off I have a built 5.0L engine with a roots blower that I want to use, secondly because I wouldnt have to change transmissions cause 4R70W will use the same bellhousing pattern as the 5.0L, thirdly this motor swap is kind of temporary to tide me over till I am finished building my 6.8L V10 engine, that of course is gonna take a while and cost a fortune but the expense isnt totally lost as I would have to convert the car to a return style fuel system for that engine as well, I basically want to use as inexpensive parts as possible to make the car faster with what I already have
I have the following
5.0L engine with x303 cam and custom intake with roots supercharger, 69 302 heads long tube headers
90 Mustang EEC IV engine harness and A9P computer
flowtech catback exhaust for 95 mustang GT
flowtech h-pipe for long tube headers
I am willing to get SN95 wiring harnesses if need me to be compatable with the rest of the wiring in the car, and if the EEC from an automatic 94-95 mustang will control my current
trans than I will buy one as well, just figured it would be good to go this route for now as it isnt the final combination for the car
