I was wondering what would be better, fitting a 02 shaker hood to my 95 GT, or the handmade CAI.

I would make my CAI out of Aluminum.

Or do you think the hood would even fit the body? I could always dream!!!!

Hey bud, i think the shaker will give you a different look, but no noticeable gains in power, the shaker in an EFI is more ornamental than anything else, all the twists required to take the air to the engine make it a bit restrictive, though it looks cool

The CAI is invisible but effective.

So i think its a matter of preference= looks or performance

Do they even make a shaker hood for a '94-'95? I don't know if I've ever seen one for sale anywhere.

Yea the shaker kit would work,you just cut a hole in your existing hood,but the CAI will get better air flow to the engine.more flow more go.

Yeah probably going to stick with the homemade CAI.
Just got to find good parts, aluminum pipe. May have to wait a couple of months, about to go from contractor to permanent hire, there is a 3 week hiccup in pay!
