Default 1994 GT mass air swap

I have replaced my stock 19lb injectors with 24lb injectors. It is my understanding that the 1994 GT MAF is calibrated for both 19 and 24 pounds so my car runs ok, however I want to swap the MAF for a larger one, either 75 or 80mm. There are tons on Ebay but very few for this model year. So my question is this...can I use another model year such as a 1993 and older or even a newer 1999 and up MAF and switch the pig tail? Has anyone done this with success? Any helpful advise is welcome, Thanks!

I've never heard the mass air is calibrated for both, why did you even change the injectors? ZERO gains and probably drives worse than stock...really, save the loot, go back to stock and forget the new mass air until you have mods that require it

Sorry, first time posting...I have a 1994 GT with an Edelbrock RPM II upper and lower intake, BBK 75MM throttle body, cold air intake with K&N filter, Holley systemax heads with 1.7 rockers, hooker headers, Ford B303 cam, 2 1/2" exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers, 3.73 gears and 24lb injectors.

You are going to need a mass air meter calibrated for the 24lb injectors/cold air intake to help you get the most out of your mods and I would not rule out getting it chip and dyno tuned to get it to perfection.

That's the issue I am having at the moment. I'm trying to save money and buy used but I can't find any for the 94 model, there are a ton of used ones for the 86-93's so I was wondering if it was possible to take one of those and swap the pig tail to match. I get the distinct feeling that I am going to have to bite the bullet and go new. I do plan on having her tuned, but not until I get this MAF taken care of. Thanks for the advice!
