Default 1995 Mustang GT Headers Question

So I noticed the guy who had the car before me just did not install two bolts on one of my headers? Is this something I should worry about, and would this change the tone of the exhaust?

The two bolts missing are both around one of the tubes on the header is that helps, thanks for your info!

On the collector end of the headers to the mid pipe? If so mines the same way.. the bolts come through but no nuts no them.. it dosent leak so i'm just going to leave it alone. If your is leaking then i would put those nuts on and get it tight.

No its actually where the headers meet the engine that I'm missing those bolts.
How can I tell if it's leaking?

If the header has a solid flange it's probably just fine. Split flange might not be ok. Are both bolts around the same tube?

Depending on the bends on some headers, I've found it almost physically impossible to install a bolt or two.

Use a mechanics' stethoscope (or a length of heater / garden hose) and listen around by the missing bolts. You'll hear some distinctive sounds if you have a leak.

I would put the bolts in for sure.Cheap no name bolts can be a major pain to get to fit.Buy a set of ARP header bolts for $20.They have a small 3/8'' hex head on them and are far easier to install and are the best bolts money can buy.
