I'm currently running the stock 17 " GT wheels with Michelin (Pilot XGT Z4, 245/45 ZR 17). They are the three double spoked type stock wheels.
Anyway, is it good to keep with the same size tire and wheel for rotational purposes? Or should I be considering a 9 inch wide wheel on the front and 10 wide on the back with different tire sizes?
My application is street use and perhaps an occasional run through the cones.

The only thing I noticed is with the increase in traction
I get a slight push under certain conditions. Good Luck!

i have a 95 5.0. i want to put stock 05 gt wheels on my pony. any suggestions on tire size to not have to enter any new
programable peramiters? dont really want to mess with the computer if possible. i know i should be able to program if i have obd 2. i think i may have obd first gen. any feedback?
I just bought a 1995 GT, I want to buy new wheels and tires and everywhere I look, they are selling 17" and larger. My mustang has 16" wheels and tires on it. I assume this is stock, but can't figure out why everyone else has 17" on 95 while I have 16".

Good to see this thread back from the dead
17" wheels were an option on the GT. Usually associated with the Mach 460 sound, but not necessarily.

'95 GT is OBD1 compliant. As to whether you need to adjust for tire size will depend on the difference in the overall tire diameter. The easiest and cheapest fix will probably be a change in the tooth count on the transmission driven gear.
