Ok I have a 94 gt 5.0 5 speed when I start it up it rev's to 2k rpms slowly drops to 1500 within 5-7 secs then slowly drops from there to 900 where it normally sits when I barely touch the gas it goes to 15 and holds fir a sec or two then slowly drops when I drive it never gets below 15k have a new iac on it and had one bad vac line changed it didn't change anything car runs good when iac is unplugged. Out of ideas on what to do
Disconnect the battery and the mass air meter, clean the meter and let both set over night. Reconnect everything the next morning and see what happens. If it doesn't help you might new a tps. You could even disconnect the iac overnight as well. Your just clearung the codes from the previous iac and cleaning the maf cause its always in need of cleaning.
I don't have a check light or anything it has kicked on but soon as i turn the car off its gone i don't know if the code stays in the computer or not
All sensor codes that fall out of spec are stored by the computer. OBDI code readers are less than $25 these days. Code info can save you big $$$s from buying parts based on guesses that are otherwise good and not in need of replacement.

Alright well the cheapest one i found on eBay was 49 any idea on a cheaper one let me know and haven't got around to unplugging those things yet had 70 degree weather yesterday turning into tornado weather and it snowed today
Ok well it's got bbk cai and bbk headers and looks like just straight pipes and those are disconnected is it possible if the people before me had a tune on it could it of messed the computer up?
Check for another vacuum leak. Try to get the engine to idle with the IAC unplugged. It shouldn't be possible. If it is, listen for where it's sucking air from.
Ok check light came on earlier went to orieillys to have them run a computer on it he brought a obd1 computer out it wouldn't fit the guy who originally owned the car must of cut the obd1 computer out cause there is a obd2 in it now who knows why so I don't think anything I do is gonna fix the prob seems like it's all jerry rigged so not really sure where to go from here
