Thoughts about exactly what aspect of them? Personally, I think they're an okay casting (not great), but I believe the stock valvetrain components suck.
Of course, I have no first hand experience with them, so those are just my personal opinions, which I have based on what other people have stated. But, I have read many people say the same thing, and some are decently knowledgeable. Take it for what it's worth.
just trying to figer out witch way i wanna go. e streets or the tfs witch i no every one is gonna say tfs but if im gonna make 350 360 with a set of tfs n about the same numbers with some estreets i would be down to do it for a lil less
With the stock valve reliefs that head can accept a good sized cam and has 2.02 valves where an inline head you would run into trouble.
I have a friend of mine who laid down some really nice numbers with an old set of performer heads cleaned up and some bowl work. It was a total junkyard build as he slapped an old Crower cam, these heads, RPMII intake but he built the bottom end carefully and correctly. Runs like a rapped ape.
