absolutely....been there done that....
my 94 cobra still has the stock 3.08 in it. I ran a 14.8 at the track bone stock and that is with stock air filter and stock 10 year old facotry tires. This was last year when my car only had 6,900 miles. But even at that I had NO traction at all. I could have been 14.5 with good tires, probably. Which is what they are suppose to run stock anyways. But there is a guy in my hometown that had an 05 mustang GT earlier this winter before I put my car up for the winter and I ran it and it wasn't that fast. He pulled on me but not as hard as I expected. With good traction and a 3:73 alone you would have a stock GT no doubt. Also before you guys even suggest it this guy does know how to drive a stick. This is his 3rd stick car, it doesn't matter how bad you drive a stick after 3 of them you are bound to be a decent driver I would think. Anyways thats my 2 cents man!
