Default Lowering Spring Recommendations!!!

I need to here from people with KYB gas a just rear and GR-2 fronts. I am looking at the Steeda sport springs. I don't have C/C plates and will be adding offset rack bushings. My 95 GT Vert will see street duty only and I want an aggressive stance. A firm ride does not bother me. Please let me know what you guys think!!!

Thanks

I really like my Eibach Pro kit springs, the handling is much improved over stock. I got them from Dallas Mustang off Ebay, and paid $201 shipped. Good Luck! :thumbup

stay away from offset rack bushings they can actually make bump steer worse.instead get new regular bushings.I have bbk progressive rate springs and the stance is perfect and it rides much better even with stock struts/shocks.i am about to replace my shocks and struts and am planning on getting ones for 87-93 mustang.I'm told they are shorter and with lowering ride much better on our cars.as for the brand not sure yet so im watching this thread for ideas on that also.

I had a lot of bump steer after my springs settled, so I had to get a bump steer kit. The UPR kit that I bought was of good quality and it was the right price. I put it on myself and then had the alignment done and it handles awsome now.

Hey IAFF284,
I've got a '94 GT and went with the Eibach Pro-Kit. It made the car's stance much better (no more four wheeler appearance) and greatly improved the ride and cornering. I highly recommend C/C plates or you'll be replacing tires more frequently than normal. I also went with Eibachs HD anti-sway bars (front and rear) and Steeda bump steer and X2 ball joints. These items were in addition to Tokico Blue shocks and struts. I can now take those 15 mph 90 degree corners at about 40-45 mph with NO tire chirp or squeal...which greatly helps with getting idiots OFF of my bumper. "You wanna ride my ass? you gotta catch it first"...LOL!
Happy Motoring,
MrMustang1

I just installed the Eibach Pro-kit last week with MM LCA's. The stance is just what I was looking for. The ride is good, not too harsh and the handling has increased tenfold. It aligned perfectly without C/C plates. I'm still running the stock shocks and struts but thats a next year thing.

Yes there is, they're called Maximum Motorsports

As for the springs, H&R or Eibach Pro.

Thanks for the info guys. I am really concerned with getting a set of springs designed specifically for my heavy Vert. So far H & R are the only ones I have found with Vert specific springs.

Eibach Pro Kit here also but i have a very harsh ride..Maybe that has to do with the fact that my struts and shocks are crap and i have a convertible which come stock with a K-member brace and strut tower brace..?? Also i have learned that the eibach Pro kit is made for coupe the or convertible ( they arent the same springs) ..I think the guy who owned the car previously may have put the coupe springs on which may largely explain the harsh ride conditions. Get a good bumpsteer kit and caster camber plates and f you're convertible, go to http://www.brothersperformance.com/s...b3530.140.html
and get the part # for the vert. springs. By the way, if im not mistaken.. UPR makes most of Steeda's product's for them.
