My engine has died approx. 3 times on me while crusing in the past two weeks. Popping the clutch while rolling won't get it started, and after I stop and go to crank its still being stubborn. I've been giving it a minute, and turning the key over right before I engage the starter, and finally after a few times the car starts right up and I have no problems for the rest of the day. This sound like the fuel pump going south? (95' GT. I replaced the fuel pump probably a week ago thinking that may have been the problem, but no dice. )

I fought with the same problem for a month and it kept getting worse and worse. It wound up being the stator or the ignition pick-up coil depending on who you talk to. It's the same part inside the distributor and there's a test for it in the Hayne's manual so check that out.
