My car started acting up about 4 days ago. When i leave the car parked for over 8hrs or so... (like when im asleep) In the mornings ive been having trouble getting it started. It doesnt crank AT ALL!! I turn the key in the ignition and all the odometer lights "light up" but NADA!! i get aBSolutely NO SOUND! NO CRANKING! NO NUTHIN! i try this for several times! ALL my fuses are good then when the car feels like it itll START RIGHT UP?? could it be the starter?? let me know your feedback. This is driving me nutz!
Yea its probably your starter, next time it doesnt work get a friend to bang on it with a hammer while you crank it, if it starts up after a few beatings then you can be positive its your starter.

Well, if your lights go on then it shouldnt be the battary. If u here a little click, click, sound then it is the battary, cuz that is the starter trying to engage. It might be a crank sensor. My best guess, is take it to a shop. Get it scanned. That will tell them what is wrong with it if u have any codes off.
Im now 90% it is the starter but i will take it to my mechanic just to make sure. I had 1 last question, Does anyone know if there are any "Performance" Starters out there? maybe by msd or another company for that matter. If i have to buy a starter i might as well treat myself to a better one that just stock.
