hey guys..i'm still a little new here but i had some questions, my mustang has been doing a couple wierd things lately...i have a 1995 GT 5.0L, 76,000 mi.....for one when i hit and hold the gas it sorta makes a squealing sound mostly every time it shifts ..i think it might be my a/c compessor locking up the belt....what do you guys think?

also today i was driving and when i went to give it a little gas nothing hapenned..then the revs went slowly down until it died..the engine ed but wouldn't fire up...so i'm going to replace the fuel filter tonight and hopefully that will do it...any insights would be much appreciated

Clogged fuel filter need replacing? Bad fuel pump?

i replaced the filter, but no success in starting the engine...i don't think it's the pump..but i'll find out the problem in the next day or two, it's at the shop...i had to get it towed...sucks..
