Unhappy Got a squeaking noise............help

Having a prob with the stang. Tonight, while driving, my car made a wierd squeaking noise. It only does this when the car is in gear. So I'm thinking it's either the clutch, driveshaft, or rear. The noise goes faster as the car goes faster. I know my TO bearing might be bad because it chirps & the only way for me to stop that noise is to press on the clutch pedal a little. Could the TO bearing be the culprit. The sound is annoying. I have a 94 GT with 98,000 miles...................later

sounds like that may be your prob.. and when you push the clutch, it puts tension on the release bearing and stops its shutter.

last year i had the same squeaking from my release bearing. I replaced the entire clutch and bearing with a centerforce. 7000 miles later it has started squeaking again... what could cause it to come back so soon? My girlfriend was learning how to drive a stick at the time, could it be from resting her foot on the pedal as she drives? she says she doesn't rest her foot on it. A bent bellhousing(hope not)maybe? the clutch cable is to long or short(burnt or streched)? It is pretty embarrassing to drive by in a nice car that sounds like it is going to fly apart.

IrOnn, did you just replace the throw out bearing or did you get a new clutch or had one previous to replacing the throw out bearing or what? Also, CCS94GT, have you since tried to fix the problem or see what's up? Just lemme know, I replaced my throw out bearing in my '94 cobra just recently, no noises yet, but I'd like to know what to do if anything does come up.
