I own a 95 GTS with an automatic tranny and sometimes when I am driving and after I feel the trans switch into 3rd gear it feels like it grinds and you can hear and feel it when it happens. What could this be? Thanks in advance.

I would think its in the bands... or the valvebody is going... its hard to tell... does it sound like a metal on metal grind?

its more of a pounding than a grinding its happening more and more recently
