Default 94 GT- Where does this hose go?- Need Help!

I was searching for my AC vacuum hose, hoping to find it disconnected or cracked, because my air will only come out of the defrost vent. The only disconnected line that I found is the one in the attached picture but I am not sure that this is the AC line because it's not long enough to reach the vacuum tree nor does the line look small enough to fit the nipple on the tree.

To explain the pic, the line starts out as a small, hard plastic line that comes out of the the firewall on the passenger side. It's the one at the red arrow. It then continues on to the left where it's then connected to a bigger rubber hose (the first red star.) It then goes to a T (top red star). The line to the left of the T goes to the charcoal canister but the line on the right goes nowhere.

Is this the AC line that should go to the vacuum tree or is this an intake line that should be connected to the upper intake manifold?

From what I can tell viewing the picture on my Note II, that's a vacuum line. It sounds like you have a clog/broken part in your dash. I may be completely wrong though.

I know it's a vacuum line, I just need to know where it goes. If it goes to the AC, I need to get a longer line and then attach it to the vacuum tree. If it goes to the upper manifold, I would love to get it reattached and see if it helps my rough idle and misfire problem.

And thanks for the link TKC but those diagrams just confuse me.

Are all the ports on the vacuum T accommodated for? Also on the passenger side firewall the main vac line coming from the B/R on the T goes to a check valve, off of that check valve there are two smaller hard lines, one goes into the firewall for climate controls and the other goes into the fender for I believe a vacuum canister. At least all this is true on my 91, I believe this is very similar on yours.

I think the one you are trying to identify is for your climate control.

No. There is one port, the third one down, that does not have a hose connected. There is a nipple there that looks like it's been broken off of a line but it's smaller than the hose that I found.

To me it looks like that vacumm line was broken off and they tried to make it work there..buy 2 feet of line and connect.it to that line and see if it works

That port is for the thin plastic AC vacuum line that comes out of the firewall on the passenger side. Obviously your vacuum line is broken so you'll need to find a replacement.

As Bullitt95 said, you need to connect the vacuum line coming throught the firewall to that nipple in the last pic you posted. Should get your vents working again.

Well, we got some tubing and connected it to the vacuum tree but the vents still don't work so ........ I don't know. I'm at a loss. The blower also only works on high, which is more annoying than not having the vents.

I'm also having trouble with a rough idle, bucking, engine stalling, and a check engine light that keeps going on and off so I'm not sure which problem to tackle first.

I love this car but it's making me very sad.

Run the codes first since that will at least start you in a direction.

Well, it's been a while but I got the check engine, stalling and rough idle problems fixed.

I still only have air from the defrost and usually only on high, and the car still bucks very badly when given steady acceleration. However, I have less problems than I did so I'm getting there. Slowly.

Pull the codes. It was suggested in response to the first mention you made above about bad idling, running rough etc.
