Default Stalling Cobra HELP!

Heres the deal. I have a 94 Cobra with the following mods to the motor:
fenderwell cold air kit
stock MAF (70mm with center vane removed)
ported GT40 lower
March underdrive pulleys
AFR 165 Heads
FRPP Headers
Dr Gas X-pipe
14 degrees timing

At WOT the car goes like hell, but at idle the rpms vary between 700 to 900 and it idles a little rough. I have a new IAC and everything is clean, also no vaccum leaks. The car also likes to stall out when I come to a stop without downshifting. I do notice that it runs a little better when it's cold. I was looking into a piggyback tuner such as the Tweecar or the Anderson Motorsport PMS. Will this solve my problems? Has anyone else had any luck going this direction? Any other ideas? Anyone? Anyone?
Please Help

Try turning (indexing) the MAF, at some angles the maf has problems reading the incoming air due to turbulence generated by some CAIs.

I tried that, it's at 3 o clock now, and it helped a little. But the car still has issues.

It sounds like the car is running lean. Im guessing that because you mention it is better when the car is cold - which is when it runs a bit more rich - and because all your mods allow more airflow.

Do you have access to a WB to see whats happening with the engine?
Have you scanned the codes?
Have you tried clearing the computer and letting it re-learn since the mods?

Those would probably be my first steps.

(Tweecer could help - but you would still need to know whats happening with the engine in order to fix it.)

I also have an Areomotive regulator adjusted to 44psi. The plugs look normal to me. I have an air/fuel gauge from autometer in the car and it doesn't run to the rich side as much as it used to. It goes to the second green bar at WOT. Do I need a bigger fuel pump? It has the stock 24#'s in it still. I never scaned for codes, but I did the "clear the computer" thing dumping the extra power through the brake lights. The new Tweecer has the real time data log deal, would that tell me whats up?

The tweecer would help - especially if you have a wide band. Keep in mind there is a steep learning curve.
