Most fords and other cars you just have to turn the ignition on an off in so many seconds (without starting the car), when you have done it enough the locks will lock or unlock or both 1 time. after that just hit one of the buttons on your remote then you are done.

If you have the owners manual for the car I think it should tell you how many times for sure, but I think its 8.

Is it an ebay remote? If so make sure the numbers match. Also make sure the battery is good.

Your counting is on-off 1 on-off 2... so and so forth right?

oh, while you are doing it, if you have an existing remote also, I believe it will also have to be redone, but dont quote me.

Cool I have a ford manual

It says there is a two pin connector you have to momentarily short together on the control unit in the left hand side of the luggage compartment remove the trim work to get to it. while the key switch is in run or acc position. when shorted doors should lock and then unlock thenn remove shorting pin press lock key on remote doors should lock and then unlock to verify programing if not press key at least 3 times if that does not work you have problems. if you have more then one remote press the lock button on each before turning off switch to program them in. drop me a line and let me know if this worked for you. best of luck I dont have a remote for mine yet.

Default Question about remotes

When I purchased my car the owner just had keys. No remote. Did all 95 Mustang GTs have a remote for the keyless entry or was this an option that needed to be requested? The car is a standard 95 GT with all the power options. I'm thinking of buying some replacments on ebay and wan't to make sure that the care did in fact have them before.

Thanks
James
