Default Fuel System Question

Hello everyone i had a few quick questions i am just finishing putting head gaskets in my 95 mustang and i am wondering what my next step would be. I have a vortech S-trim supercharger and shorty headers with off road H-pipe, Besides that the car is stock. My question is the fuel system is stock, except for the vortech Fuel managment thing that came with the supercharger. I am putting the stock pulley back on the SC so it will be making 8 lbs of boost. what needs to be upgraded to make it run to its full potential. Injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel regulator, computer, ignition, Maf, ETC? which one of these or a combination of them would be the most vital to make it run best. Thanks ahead of time for any answers that can be provided.

Well, in order to take full advantage of your supercharger you would need to get heads and an u/l intake and a cam. At that point you would also want to get a larger throttle body and mass air matched to larger injectors. Then top it off with a good dyno tune.

If you want to keep things as is (since you just had it apart for a head gasket change) then you could get a new fuel filter, a 190 or 255 lph fuel pump, ditch the FMU, buy 30lb injectors (with an eye towards future mods), get a larger mass air calibrated for your injector size, and top it off with a good tune. How much power will that be worth? 20-30 rwhp maybe since the PCM is now controlling exactly how much fuel is being metered out.

Looking at your mileage (170K). I might just run it as is until I saved up enough money for a built short or long block and then you can do all of your mods at once when the engine is out.
